UPDATE:
Steve Pettyjohn, Principal of The Acoustics & Vibration Group, Inc., was
asked by the Division of the State Architect (DSA) Advisory Board (DSAAB) to
contribute to the efforts of the Excellence Committee. The Excellence Committee
was given the task of creating guidelines for Excellence in Public Educational
Facilities, which is an extension of Excellence in Public Buildings (EIPB). This is
part of the State of California Department of General Services' commitment to a
green California -- building, buying, and working green.
For Excellence in Public Educational Facilities, Steve Pettyjohn contributed the
article "Acoustics and Schools" and edited "Noise in Relocatable Classrooms - A
Case Study" in the section Design to Maximize Student Performance.
